Expansive plans

In the next few months, we will be moving to new premises with a significant increase in office and warehouse space, badly needed as we expand. The new facility is at Holmwood, on the outskirts of Chesterfield, and will give the PMI Denholm team some 8000sq ft of workshop and 2000sq ft of office space.

We will be incorporating a training area into the new facility - for our own technicians, but also for training overseas clients’ personnel. For example, we have recently been 'sounded out' by a Libyan company about the potential of us maintaining some of their under pressure drilling equipment and training some of their personnel on maintenance and use of the equipment.

Meanwhile, the potential for working overseas is growing, in particular within the DOS group which is encouraging closer relationships between the DOS companies. Currently, we are carrying out GUL inspections in Kazakhstan and hope to be able to do some large diameter pipeline connections in Iran, in conjunction with welders from SDL Denholm in Azerbaijan.
